Location. The Anantara Resort Koh Samui is located in the village of Bo Phut Beach in Samui, Thailand. The hotel is on the northern end of Samui island, less than two kilometers from the Buffalo Stadium and Monkey Theatre. Koh Samui International Airport is seven kilometers away.
Hotel Features. The Anantara Resort Koh Samui exudes Thai charm and ambience. Elegant teak floors, silk drapery and lounge furniture mix Thai and contemporary style. Six glass walled treatment rooms shrouded by tropical gardens encompass more than 3,000 square meters of the Spa at Anantara Resort Koh Samui. The spa offers salon treatments performed by trained therapists in private water garden rooms. The hotel provides a resident windsurfing instructor, diving tours including an optional two day certification course, and deep sea fishing excursions. The hotel can arrange private yacht charters and private tours of the surrounding reefs, coves and lagoons of the island. The Anantara Resort Koh Samui offers three Restaurants. The hotel offers special dining services featuring a selection of the international menus to be enjoyed in one of a dozen locations around the property. Dining options include a library, an outdoor setting and a private gourmet barbeque.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Anantara Resort Koh Samui are designed with southern Thai artwork and teak floors. Rooms are equipped with satellite television and high speed Internet access. Minibars are provided. Rooms feature furnished balconies. Beds are draped in silk and cotton linens. Bathrooms include terrazzo tubs built for two.
Expert Tip. After experiencing the many activities offered by the Anantara Resort Koh Samui, guests can visit one of the most impressive temples in Samui, Wat Phra Yai. There sits the Big Buddha at 12 meters high, atop the dragon steps.
Gala Dinners:
The hotel hosts a gala dinner on December 24 and December 31, 2007. Guests are charged for the dinners regardless of whether they attend. Fees for the dinners are collected by the hotel at check in.
