The Dom Jose is a beachfront hotel located in the Algarve resort of Quarteira, within three kilometres of Vilamoura marina and casino. It features 146 guestrooms over seven floors, all decorated in a Mediterranean style with terracotta coloured tiles and blue wood furniture. All rooms include air conditioning, safes, satellite television, and direct dial phones.
The hotel has a private area on the adjoining sandy beach with its own sun loungers and parasols, or guests can relax at the poolside with its sea views. Guests can also test their skills at the 9 hole mini golf course. There is a parking garage for those arriving by car and the hotel has conference facilities for business travellers. Diners can sample Portuguese specialities and international dishes in the hotel's buffet restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The poolside bar serves drinks and snacks, or guests can enjoy a cocktail in the lounge bar which overlooks the beach. Active guests benefit from several golf courses and a horse riding centre within three kilometres of the hotel. Faro International Airport is 30 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

The best way to reach the hotel is by car. Taxis are available from the arrivals terminal. From the airport take the N125 towards Portimao and after approximately 18 kilometres turn left towards Quarteira. The hotel is located in the centre of Quarteira.
