A modern 12 storey hotel surrounded by mature trees and situated in downtown Porto, less than one kilometre from the main business district and five kilometres from the city's historic centre. The hotel's 265 guestrooms are styled with contemporary furnishings, combining rich chocolate tones with neutral colours. All have high speed Internet connections and have music and video on demand. Glass walls divide the bathrooms and sleeping areas. Other facilities include satellite television, air conditioning, bathrobes and minibars.

The hotel's spa provides a range of treatments which combine European and Oriental traditions, a gym, a Zen studio with classes in Swasthya Yoga, mixed sauna and hammam. Additionally, guests can make use of the indoor swimming pool with hydrotherapy classes and hairdressing salon. The spa has seven treatment rooms, where facial and body treatments, hot stone therapy and aromatherapy treatments take place, with ESPA prodcuts. The heat experience zone comprises three saunas arranged by heat, aroma and humidity, as well as a relaxation area. The hotel also offers airport transfers and for business guests there are dedicated areas for conferences, meetings and banqueting. Restaurant Porto Novo is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specialises in traditional Portuguese cuisine, combining the flavours of wood stove cooking in the preparation of fresh fish and seafood. The restaurant has a glass covered wine cellar where guests are invited in to choose from a huge selection of wines from around the world. During the summer months, an outdoor terrace provides additional seating. Bar New Yorker is styled to resemble a New York bar, with rich red armchairs and black bar, this venue is situated in the hotel's lobby and offers live musical entertainment and an exhaustive cocktail list. The bar is open from 10.00 AM to 2 AM. The spa houses a Juice Bar, where guests can enjoy healthy, nutritional drinks including smoothies, freshly squeezed juices and vegetarian sandwiches here. Porto Airport is 12 kilometres from the hotel.

Driving Directions

Taxis are available daily 24 hours from outside Arrivals. The Aerobus provides a fast connection between the airport, the city's main hotels and downtown Porto. Regular buses, including numbers 56 and 87, also serve the city. The hotel can arrange for taxis to take guests on sightseeing trips. Porto has a reliable bus network.
From the airport, take the IC24 in the direction of Porto/Matodinhos. Then, take the IC1 in the direction of Porto/Boavista. Take the Boavista/Foz exit and continue up Av. Boavista; the hotel is approximately 500 meters along on the left hand side.
