The Dom Henrique is a 1970s built high rise hotel, designed with input from Portugal's top architects, located 100 meters from the city center. The modern guestrooms are decorated in creams and reds with wood furnishings. All include high speed Internet connections, fax and modem points. Cable television with radio, telephones, and minibars. Marble bathrooms come with speakers and complimentary toiletries.

The Restaurant Alem Mar is decorated with warm colors with an intricate tiled wall, exclusively designed by a prominent Portuguese artist. Here, guests can sample Portuguese specialties including Bacalhau (dried cod) and Roasted Octopus. The hotel houses five meeting rooms with capacities from 6 to 80 persons, all the rooms have daylight and are equipped with analogical and digital phone connections, broad band wireless internet access (WLAN), overhead projectors, flip charts and screens.
