Built in 1844, the Quinta Da Bela Vista is an impeccably maintained manor house hotel set in lush gardens with sweeping views of Funchal Bay. The 89 colonial style guestrooms have crisp white walls and fabrics with dark wood furnishings. Rooms open out onto balconies and all come equipped with air conditioning, cable television, direct dial phones, and Internet connections. Marble bathrooms are complete with bathtub/showers, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, bidets and hair dryers.

The swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers, is set in the 20,000 square metre gardens featuring exotic plants, cobbled paths and attractive water features.
