A seafront hotel incorporating sensitively designed modern buildings and an early 20th Century aristocratic villa nestling among lush tropical gardens, the Pestana Palms is situated on the outskirts of Funchal. Madeira airport is 30 kilometres and a 20 minute drive away.

The best way to reach the hotel from the airport is by taxi. From the airport take the Funchal highway and leave at the Funchal/Hospital/Porto exit. At the roundabout take the Hospital/Avenida do Mar exit. At the traffic lights turn right towards the Lido. Follow the signs to Praia Formosa and Hotel Synalethic.
