Location. Located adjacent to the magnificent Sky Tower, which stands 328 meters tall, the Skycity Grand is located in the central business district of Auckland, New Zealand. The hotel is also next door to the SKYCITY Auckland Entertainment Complex, which features New Zealand's largest casino, a convention center and several theaters.
Located less than two kilometers away, the Auckland Viaduct is home to modest apartments and eateries located in a run down marina on the waterfront. Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World, a subterranean facility that was started by world famous marine biologist Kelly Tarlton and boasts an array of penguins, sharks and giant eels, can be found five kilometers away. Auckland International Airport sits 30 kilometers from the hotel.
