Location.The Bastion Hotel is located just off exit 7 of the A12 motorway in a residential area of Utrecht, Holland. It is within four kilometres of the Jaarbeurs Conference Centre and Utrecht city centre. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 45 kilometres away.
Hotel Features.The Bastion Hotel is a modern six storey property with a front desk open 24 hours, complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a small library. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available, and there is free wireless internet access in public areas, as well as a public computer. Onsite parking is complimentary.
The grill restaurant serves an � la carte menu, and there is also a bar open until late for drinks and snacks. The bar also shows football and films.
Guestrooms.The 80 guestrooms of the Bastion Hotel, set on six floors, are colourfully furnished and equipped with televisions, tea and coffee makers, minibars, and safes for secure storage.
Expert Tip.The Dom Tower of Utrecht, four kilometres from the hotel, dominates the skyline. It has not been connected to the body of the cathedral since the nave collapsed in 1674. Along the wharf side of the Oudegracht canal, running through the centre of the city, are many restaurants and cafes in converted warehouses.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
Distance to Bastion Utrecht is 40 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there.A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station and Utrecht. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis are outside Arrivals. Cars can seat up to eight people. A private taxi to the Bastion Utrecht will cost approximately 49 EUR. Public buses frequently run from Schiphol to Utrecht and Amsterdam. The express tram from Utrecht Central station takes five minutes to the Westraven stop, opposite the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Utrecht can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also popular.
Driving directions. From Amsterdam follow the A2 in the direction of Utrecht.
Take the A12 for Arnhem.
Take exit 17 Kanaleneiland/Jaarbeurs.
Continue and then take first turn right.
The hotel is on the right.
