The Hotel Antico Doge is a 13th century gothic palace with interiors decorated in silk, brocades, damask and gilt mirrors. Conveniently located in the centre of Venice, the hotel is just 300 metres from the Rialto Bridge and 500 metres from Palazzo Ducale. There are 20 elegantly furnished guestrooms with original antique pieces and luxurious fabrics. All rooms are equipped with televisions, minibars, wireless Internet connections, air conditioning, direct dial phones, safes, desks, hair dryers and bidets.
The concierge can help plan sightseeing trips in Venice and make restaurant reservations, and the hotel can also organise water taxis to Murano for free guided tours of the famous glass factory. There is room service available at any hour, while further practical amenities include a 24 hour front desk with multilingual staff and airport transport for a charge. The hotel is in an excellent position for exploring the winding streets and canals of this beautiful city; guests can take a stroll around one of the most famous squares in the world, Piazza San Marco, just 900 metres away and visit its magnificent church. The hotel is located 1.5 kilometres from Santa Lucia Station, and five kilometres from Venice Marco Polo Airport, a 20 minute drive.
