A self catering, budget holiday complex set in the grounds of Galway University, Corrib Village lies three kilometres from Eyre Square and the city centre. The 660 modern apartment style guestrooms are spread over two floors and have simple neutral decor and functional furnishings. All apartments include fully equipped kitchens with cookers, microwaves and fridge freezers, and living and dining areas with Internet connections, satellite television and direct dial telephones.
After enjoying breakfast in the dining area, guests can consult staff on the front desk about sightseeing in and around Galway, before hopping on the complimentary shuttle bus that will ferry them to Eyre Square in the city centre. On site, guests can enjoy a game of pool, and visitors with cars will find plenty of free parking. Guests will find the Roman Catholic Cathedral and Salmon Weir Bridge both a kilometre away, and Nora Barnacle's house and Lynch's Castle can be found within two kilometres. Dublin International Airport is 223 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of three hours.

Aircoach offers a 24 hour daily service from the airport to Dublin's city centre and Dublin South, where connections to Galway train station can be found. Alternatively, fly to Galway Carnmore Airport (GWY), where a daily bus service runs to Galway city centre. A free shuttle service operates between Eyre Square and Corrib Village.
Driving directions: From Dublin Airport, follow signs for Dublin and the M1. Leave the M1 at junction 3, at roundabout take 3rd exit to M50 (Southbound). Leave the M50 at junction 7 (Dublin, Sligo N4), at roundabout take 3rd exit onto the N4 (The West). Continue forward on the N4. Enter Clonard N4. At roundabout take 2nd exit to N6 (Galway). Continue on N6 until Oranmore, then at 3rd roundabout take 1st exit. Follow signs to Cliften. On reaching the Westwood Hotel, with the IDA Business Park in front of you, take the right, and Corrib Village is a few minutes down the road.
