From Shannon International Airport (SNN):
Distance to Days Hotel Castlebar is 102 miles, approximately two hours' drive.
Getting there. Bus �ireann run buses to Ennis, Limerick and Galway from the airport. Taxis can be booked at the taxi desk at arrivals. Fares are around 8 EUR to Shannon city centre and 32 EUR to Limerick and Ennis. From Galway, trains run to Castlebar. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Regular buses run to numerous towns and villages in the Shannon region. Regular trains run from Limerick train station to Cork, Ennis, Dublin, and Rosslare Harbour. A car is useful for exploring the West Ireland countryside.
Driving directions. From Shannon Airport, follow the N19 (signposted to Galway, Limerick and Ennis) to Shannon town.
At the 2nd roundabout, take the 1st exit, then merge onto the N18 (signposted to Galway and Ennis).
Follow the N18 to Claregalway and turn right onto the N17 in the direction of Sligo.
Follow the N17 to Milltown Branch towards Castlebar, Roscommon and Claremorris.
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the N60 towards Castlebar.
From Castlebar town centre, turn left onto Market Street and continue onto Old Westport Road.
The Days Hotel is on the right.
