Location. Hotel Poseidon Resort is located two kilometres from the spa town of Loutraki, Greece, overlooking the Corinthian Gulf. It lies 12 kilometres from the town of Corinth and 80 kilometres from the city of Athens.
Hotel Features. This two storey hotel features modern architecture and enjoys a seaside location. Regular entertainment includes musical evenings and dance festivals and there is a children's playground, a children's swimming pool and a kids' club. The air conditioned public areas have high speed wireless Internet access (surcharge). Complimentary parking is available.
The Amphitrion Main Restaurant serves a Greek and international buffet with themed nights and has a terrace overlooking the sea. It serves a complimentary breakfast each morning. The Poseidon Grill is located on the beach and serves barbecue lunches with Greek salads. The Nafsika Lounge Bar is set atop a cliff overlooking the sea and the Taverna Triaina serves fresh fish and Greek dishes; both are open during the summer season.
The hotel's health club and spa offers fitness equipment and an indoor pool. Beauty services, massage treatments and herb and mud baths are available. There are floodlit tennis, basketball and volleyball courts and water sports at the private beach include water skiing, windsurfing and sailing.
Guestrooms. The 320 guestrooms have light decor, traditional furnishings and balconies. All are equipped with satellite television, air conditioning, and dial up Internet connections. Other standard amenities include safes, minibars, and desks. Complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, and hair dryers are all provided.
Expert Tip. The Temple of Hera, 10 kilometres from the hotel, dates back to 600 BC and its splendid marble columns are surprisingly well preserved. In Greek mythology, Hera was both older sister and wife to Zeus.
