Location. The Shaw Club Hotel, an Ontario's Finest Inn, is located on the main street in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada, directly across the street from the Shaw Festival Theatre. Boutique shops line the streets one block from the hotel and jet boat tours depart three blocks away. A golf club stands one kilometer from the hotel and wineries conduct tours between two and seven miles from this property.
Hotel Features. The Shaw Club Hotel begins guests' days with complimentary continental breakfasts. Zees Patio and Grill features innovative regional and international cuisine in a fine dining setting. A private guests only lounge features a laptop with Internet access, a complimentary cappuccino machine, a flat screen television and a river rock fireplace. Wireless Internet access throughout the hotel is complimentary, and business amenities include fax and photocopying services. This smoke free property offers fitness equipment and a library with books, CDs and DVDs.
Guestrooms. Completely refurbished in 2006, this two story hotel features 30 guestrooms and suites with flat screen LCD televisions with surround sound, MP3 docking stations and complimentary wireless Internet access. Balconies overlook the Shaw Festival Theatre, and artworks rendered by local photographers adorn guestroom walls. Each guestroom is uniquely decorated and features a king size feather top bed, 300 thread count Egyptian cotton linens, down pillows and duvet. Bathrooms include oversized multi head showers with a rain head and glass vanities with stainless steel sinks.
Expert Tip. Although the hotel is pet friendly, staff sympathizes with guests who must travel without their beloved pets. Therefore, the hotel provides pet surrogates, specifically goldfish upon request.
