Location. White Point Beach Resort is located along one kilometer of Atlantic Ocean white sand beach in White Point, Nova Scotia, Canada. Ten Mile Lake Provincial Park offers outdoor recreation 20 kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The resort's Seawatch Dining Room serves international dishes while Founder's Lounge offers live entertainment during summer months and on occasional weekends throughout the year. Two computers are located in the main lodge and are equipped with high speed Internet access. Complimentary wireless Internet access is offered in public areas. Recreational diversions abound at the resort's nine hole golf course, tennis courts, game room, indoor and outdoor pools, spa tub, and at the property's two freshwater lakes. The Ocean Spa features a menu of wellness treatments that include massage and body scrubs. Additional property amenities include a guest laundry facility, supervised children's activities and a fitness room.
Guestrooms. This smoke free, single story lodging features 162 contemporary guestrooms furnished with locally crafted pine dressers, headboards and nightstands. Sliding glass doors open onto private decks or balconies that afford views of the grounds. Room amenities include cable television, coffeemakers and refrigerators. Dial up Internet access is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. This resort is particularly receptive to teens' and children's recreation. Teens are offered places just to hang out, such as the game room, the boathouse, or the golf course. Basketball hoops and boogie boards provide a great way to pass the time. Children of all ages can enjoy feeding the fuzzy bunnies at the bunny hutch.
