Hotel Garni Gruber is a modern, Alpine chalet style building located in a sunny and peaceful area next to the promenade and park in the town of St. Johann, between the Kitzb�heler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser mountain range. The hotel's 15 guestrooms feature carved wood and floral fabrics, lending them an old world charm. All rooms have balconies or terraces, telephones, minibars, bathrooms with jetted tubs, satellite television and separate sitting areas.
Guests can start their day with a complimentary buffet breakfast of fresh local produce in a warm Tyrolean style lounge. Traditional snacks and drinks are available next to the open stove fire in the parlour and in the summer months there is a barbeque on the patio. The hotel also has an ample wine cellar. After a day on the slopes, guests can relax in the sauna and steam room or work out in the fitness room; there is also free access to the nearby Panorama Badewelt bathing pools and tennis centre. The hotel offers ski and bike storage along with a repair facility. For guest arriving by car there is free parking and the hotel offers ski, train station and airport shuttle services. St. Johann offers 60km of pistes locally and is part of the Schneewinkel pass with a total of 182km of runs where guests can try their hand at downhill skiing, cross country skiing and snowboarding. Other sports available nearby include ice skating, water skiing, horse riding, golf and hiking. The ski resort of Kitzb�hel and its famous Hahnenkamm downhill run is 10 kilometres away. St. Johann has its own railway station and Innsbruck airport is 100 kilometres away with an approximate driving time to the hotel of 70 minutes.
