Location. The eco friendly Coconut Beach Resort stands within Daintree National Park in Cape Tribulation, Queensland, Australia. This property is bordered by the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage sites.
Hotel Features. The resort provides complimentary breakfasts each morning. The Cape Restaurant and Bar affords views that extend to the white sand shores of Coconut Bay and beyond to the ocean's horizon. This Indonesian long house style restaurant prepares southeast Asian influenced Australian cuisine. The chef accommodates vegetarian and specific dietary requests. Guestrooms. The 66 stylish guestrooms are dispersed throughout the living rainforest, thus encouraging an intimate experience with the sights and sounds of Daintree and the Great Barrier Reef. Daintree Retreats feature polished timber floors and d�cor elements that include beamed ceilings, ceiling fans and daybeds. Bathrooms afford private views of the rainforest. Rooms feature oil burners, CD players and air conditioning. Rainforest Retreats are free standing bungalows designed as eco havens. These accommodations are designed to offer additional privacy and are positioned to take the greatest advantage of rainforest views. These retreats are cooled by fans, and feature platform beds, rich wood paneling and contemporary cane and timber furniture.
Expert Tip. A dedicated team offers chartered reef excursions on the Odyssey H20, leads guided bushwalks and conducts four wheel drive tours. This team also organizes sea kayaking adventures and schedules horseback riding outings. The resort manages the Green Guardians Rainforest Regeneration Program where guests are invited to join in efforts that restore forest growth.
